HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! 2009 is going to be divine!!!! A fresh new start to life and love. Okay enough of that... ;) I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! I'm back from vacation and back at work now. I was off for a whole week and a half and it was so nice! But time off is never long enough. Jason and I spent Christmas Eve with my mom, then Christmas evening with Jason's mom, then day after Christmas with Jason's dad and step mom for lunch. It was a very busy holiday, that's for sure. New Years Eve was a quiet one at home. I almost didn't make it to midnight. Soon after that ball dropped in New York City, I was in bed and fast asleep. Some party animals we turned out to be! The following day, Jason and I took our fifth wheel out to Tracy Wildlife for the weekend. It was cold, but relaxing and quiet and that is exactly what we needed. We did have dinner with Linda and Juan at a yummy sushi restaurant in Tracy as well. I always look forward to our time with them as it doesn't happen to often. Anyways, that was the jest of our time for the holidays, besides Jason working while we were at home the rest of the time. He was a busy boy!As for the baby, he is kicking and kicking. I think he is sideways in there. I feel his feet on my right side and possibly his head or arms on my left lower side. It's very weird, let me tell ya! And finally Jason got to feel the baby move last week too! It has been a long time coming. Every time Jason puts his hand on my belly, our son stops moving. Needless to say, Jason has not felt him since. But I think he'll be feeling him on a regular basis soon. I can see my belly moving around every now and then. It's the funniest thing to see.
I'm feeling fine though. I'm a little sore after a long day and with a lot of walking. My lower belly gets really sore and tight so it's hard for me to stand straight at night and makes my walking slow too. But I'm sure it's just me growing and stretching. The picture above is me last week on New Years Eve. I was getting ready to meet a long time friend Sally for lunch. I hadn't seen her in quite a while and it was so nice to catch up with her for a change. Anyways, not a lot of exciting news this week. I'll touch base with you all next week.
Love to all!
Well now, that's a pregnant looking person. About time! You look great and I love seeing the pictures of the baby. Pam and Chuck
